With all Advantage Air products, energy efficiency is a priority. Our products are designed to help in efficiency one way or another. From the most basic of products (like our Streemline diffusers) through the high-tech Gen III, we help maximise what you get out of your air conditioner.
Gen III, our flagship product, has been independently tested and proven to be up to 26% more energy efficient than our standard air conditioning system. This, for them, was a saving of up to $973 a year. Thats a significant amount of power that you're not using. Gen III saves you money by only conditioning zones you are occupying, and only to the amount that you need them to, and not a breath more.
Fresh Air is another big energy saver, because when operating automatically, ‘Fresh Air’ will bring in air from outside if it is the more energy efficient option. The CSIRO estimates energy savings of up to 38% for a house in Perth with a variable volume HVAC system with economy cycle, when compared to a standard system*. Of course, you may simply want to forgo with the air conditioning all together and just vent through the outside air through your ductwork using the highly efficient fan in your air conditioning system. Zone 10 has been developed with efficiency in mind, as well. Electronic constants are built in to the system to only open up 'constant' zones when the system needs to clear excess airflow. Most other standard systems have constants always dumping air into non-critical areas in the provision of someone closing off too many zones. Also, with 10 zones, the system only needs to condition the rooms you are in, rather than multiple rooms of a house which you may not be occupying.
Even our Streemline multi-directional outlet was designed with efficiency in mind. You can control the direction, pitch and throw of the air out of the outlet to maximise your comfort and not send airflow where its not needed.
