ELECTRONIC ENGINEER (PRODUCT DESIGN)
We are pleased to invite applications, for this exciting opportunity, to join our team of dedicated engineers and designers.
Based in Perth you will be designing, prototyping testing and commercializing air conditioning and home automation controls and systems.
With a stern commitment to consistently achieving the highest standards required for world class products, you will have 2 – 4 years hardware design experience in an R&D environment. You must be able todemonstrate the ability to develop commercially viable products, starting from conceptual design through to manufacture and commercial sale. You will work closely with other members of R&D, Sales and Manufacturing to ensure the products developed are to the highest possible standard.
Some of the technologies we currently work with are with are CAN bus, RS232, RS-485, UART, USB, TCP/IP, ARM Processors, Embedded Linux, GSM/GPRS engines. We believe that to perform your tasks to the level required, you will have excellent skills in the following areas:
• Embedded system hardware design.
• Proficient with most Microcontrollers.
• PCB design.
• PCB Prototype building and testing
You should also be experienced in embedded software design using ANSI-C, knowledge and understanding of network protocols.
Excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and innovation and the ability to work in a team environment are all attributes you will possess. Coupled with a “can do” attitude you will not be afraid to get your hands dirty when required. The position requires practical experience and may well suit an individual who has a passion for electronics and is an electronic hobbyist.
