Advantage Air takes your health seriously. We have many standards and options built into our products that work to clean your air as you condition it.
Firstly, we have a standard of basic filters that are second to none. Our filters are electrostatic (both dual and triple layer options available) to attract more particles to the fibres and keep them there.
They are also built with longevity in mind- every couple of months we recommend you hose out your filters to reduce static resistance and clear the airways. However, if not using an Advantage Air filter, be careful as this might damage the filter media.
Of course, we have a product to remind you- the Clean-me LED Purtech, which senses pressure changes on either side of the filter and alerts you that it is critical you clean the filter. A dirty filter can not only continue the cycle of dirty air being circluated but also increase pressure on the unit, and in extreme cases, void warranty on units performing too hard due to a dirty filter.
